Abstract

1453357 Creels, warping MASCHINENFABRIK BENNINGER AG 16 Jan 1974 [17 Jan 1973] 02108/74 Heading D1M A creel in which bobbins are mounted on chains 2 so that they may be changed inside the creel at a position R whilst the bobbins on the outside of the creel are feeding a warping machine W has a stop motion for each yarn preceeded by yarn clamps which are normally open and are shut when repairing weft fault or changing bobbins. The clamps comprise plates 10, 11 which are normally open for the passage of individual yarns and are closed by the withdrawal of faces cams 16 acting on pins 13 attached to the plate 11. The stop motion comprises a spring loaded, pivoted rod 20 which end is pulled upright by the thread F and whose pivoting downwards stops the warping machine. The threads are passed downwards through a gap 54 around a guide 33 so that they pass over the pins 13 which stop them riding downwardly and under the stop motion 20 which prevents them riding upwardly.
