1451609 Calcium sulphate from wet process phosphoric acid FISONS Ltd 16 Oct 1973 [8 Nov 1972] 06281/76 Divided out of 1451608 Heading C1A In a process similar to that of the parent: in which phosphoric acid and calcium sulphate slurry obtained in the wet process for phosphoric acid production are filtered and scale formation reduced by the addition of anti-scaling additives after the slurry has been filtered; scale formation is reduced further by the addition of an antiscaling additive which is a condensed phosphate of M 2 O : P 2 O 5 molar ratio of from 1À1 : 1 to 1À2 : 1, M being hydrogen or an alkali metal, this addition of condensed phosphate is made at any point in the production of phosphoric acid by the wet process.
