Abstract

145,040. Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Co., (Assignees of Farrand, C. L.). June 14, 1919, [Convention date]. Vacuum tubes. - A thermionic generating valve has a single filament G, two anodes H, and two external control members J, J<1> in the form of sheaths surrounding the vacuum tube, the arrangement being such that the electron current is a maximum to one anode when it is a minimum to the other, thereby enabling the maximum electron emission from the filament to he utilized at all times. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 147,851.
