Abstract

144,970. Amsden, F. W. Jan. 2,1920. Rack stands.-Relates to stands of the kind in which shelves or trays are revolubly mounted and spaced apart on a supporting-spindle. According to the invention, the stand comprises a spindle b of square cross-section, adapted to rotate in a base a, and carrying a series of detachable trays f apertured to fit on the spindle and spaced apart by means of sleeves e. The arrangement is such that all the trays and the spindle can rotate together. The trays have detachable partitions f<1>, the vertical edges of which are grooved and chamfered to engage with the sleeves e and the internal corners of the tray respectively. Additional smaller trays may be fitted by means of hooks &c. to the rims of the larger trays.
