Abstract

759,277. Display stands &c. TRANFIELD, C., and TRANFIELD, M. X. Oct. 14, 1954 [Oct. 23, 1953; Aug. 4, 1954], Nos. 29387/53 and 22651/54. Class 52(3). A display stand comprises two flat and uprights 10 which taper from bottom to top and trays 13, 14 having end slots 15 of the same cross section as that of the uprights at the level at which it is desired to support the trays. Each upright may have two castors 11. As shown the slots 15 are formed in the rim of the trays 13, 14 and have side edges 18 of the same taper as the uprights. The slots may be formed by the space between the tray ends and the tray handles. The uprights may have shoulders at the desired positions of the trays on which the trays bear. An open top receptacle 20 is hinged to a shelf 19 and both are removably mounted between uprights 13, 14 by means of headed pins 22, 24 engaging in open-ended slots 23, 25 in the uprights. According to the first Provisional Specification, the invention can be applied to seats or benches.
