1444658 Reciprocating pumps SCM CORP 24 May 1974 [25 May 1973] 40179/75 Divided out of 1444656 Heading F1A [Also in Division D1A] The description is the same as that of the parent Specification 1444656 but the claims are directed to the pump which serves both as the bi-stable valve and manual piston pump. These share a common housing and permit selection of a stable state of the valve - viz: whether water drawn from the reservoir by the pump is distributed to a spray nozzle or into a high velocity steam - generating chamber.
