Abstract

1443039 Electro-plating jig for supporting soldering bits D Q ENG CO Ltd 19 July 1974 [4 Sept 1973] 41460/73 Addition to 1359084 Heading C7B The stem 4, e.g. of brass, carries at least one branch of fork-like structure formed by at least one loop 9 of metal wire having two fork arms 10 the loop being secured to the stem by means passing through both the loop and stem. As shown a pair of loops of stainless steel wire as in Fig. 5 are attached via a single screw and nut to the stem, adjacent ends of each loop forming the forked branch. All parts of the device other than the branches may be plastics covered, e.g. with PVC. The stem is suspended from a bus-bar via a hook and screw attachment Fig. 3, (not shown). Soldering iron bits of Cu or Cu alloy and having an axial blind bore may be supported on the branches for electro-plating.
