Abstract

1441315 Balanced flues for boilers REDFYRE Ltd 8 Oct 1974 [17 Oct 1973] 48295/73 Addition to 1370170 Headings F4A and F4W The boiler disclosed in Specification 1,370,170 is modified to provide two separate air inlets one of which is connected directly to lead to the electrically driven combustion air blower and the other is arranged to feed an injector nozzle mounted on the combustion gas outlet to dilute the combustion gases. The gas outlet injector nozzle 21 discharges into an outlet duct 12 defined by plates 7, 8 and one air inlet, comprising ducts 10, 11 provides a supply which can be drawn into outlet duct 12 by the action of injector nozzle 21. A further air inlet comprises ducts 9 which are separated by plates 6 from the ducts 10, 11 and which lead to a space 19 to pass to the blower via opening 16.
