Abstract
1439425 Electromagnetic relays STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 23 July 1974 32501/74 Heading H1N An armature and yoke assembly for an electromagnetic relay has a spring 13 which is mounted on the yoke 11 and having extending hook members 18 which are received in openings 19 of the armature 12 so that the armature is pivotable thereon. The armature also has arms 14 extending to a plastics contact operating cord 15 and engaged by extending members 21, 22, of the spring, which bias the armature to its unattracted position. The spring has holes 16 fitting on pins 17 of the yoke 11 and may have a bowed centre section (Figs. 5 and 6, not shown) which is stressed due to the positioning of the holes 16 on the pins 17 and serves to retain the spring on the yoke pins 17.
