Abstract

1437827 Selective printing INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 19 Dec 1973 [2 Jan 1973] 58794/73 Heading B6F [Also in Division B5] A hammer assembly has each hammer 20 supported by a pair of flexure members 16 and moved by an armature 40 pivoting on deformable rod 46. Each armature 40 is moved by an associated coil 36 (that shown not being in the operative position). The assembly may be a unitary construction comprising E-shaped cores (not shown), over each of which a coil 36 can fit, shields 15, hammer wear plates 18 and longitudinal fibres of glass fibre in epoxy resin all set in a thermoset plastics material.
