1,106,412. Typewriters. SCM CORPORATION. 15 April, 1966 [17 May, 1965], No. 16519. Heading B6F. A type-bar assembly for a typewriter comprises a type-bar 12 notched at 26 for the location of a removable type-head 35 having a mating lug 22 which is held in the notch 26 by a spring 28. A bent-out abutment 34 prevents an inverted assembly of the type-head on the bar, and also prevents accidental removal in the event of the type-bar stopping suddenly.
