Abstract

1426822 Coil formers MILES-PLATTS Ltd 21 May 1974 [23 May 1973] 24745/73 Heading B8M [Also in Division H1] A bobbin assembly of moulded plastics material, comprises a body member having two axially arranged spool portions 2, 4 divided by a transverse flange 6, the periphery of which comprises a first interengaging portion, and a shroud which at least partially encloses the spool portions, provided with projecting means comprising a second interengaging portion 30, at least one of said interengaging portions comprising a multiple lip 8 which interleaves with marginal portions of the other interengaging portion, 30. The shroud comprises two portions 20, each having a wall portion 22 provided with two side flanges 24 which are received in recesses 26 defined by ridges 28 on the end portion 12 of the body member. One end portion has two sets of terminal supports 14, and the other has one set, each terminal support being capable of receiving a terminal tag (16, Fig. 2, not shown). An alternative form of shroud comprises a planar wall portion (22<SP>1</SP>), Fig. 4 (not shown).
