Abstract

1436969 Cartons; packages TETRA PAK INTERNATIONAL AB 7 Feb 1974 [20 Feb 1973] 05615/74 Headings B8C and B8P A carton 1 of paper or foamed polystyrene having a coating of homogeneous polystyrene on at least one side has a pouring aperture 5 sealed by a removable strip shaped at 3 to snap into the aperture. One end 2 of the strip can be folded under and secured to the carton wall 1, the other end of the strip being loose to provide a grip tab. The strip has the shape 3 formed therein by a difference in pressure on opposite sides of the strip or by a press-tool and can be formed before or after the strip is secured in position on the carton.
