1 Claim.

The invention relatesto a container and more especially to a paper container for liquids such as milk, cream or the like.

The primary object of the invention is the provision of a container of this character, wherein one side wall is built with an inspection window so that it can be readily determined the contents within the container, the body of the container being preferably made from fibrous material such as paper while the window is made from a transparent strip and of a material not injurious to the contents of such container.

Another object of the invention is the provision of a container of this character, wherein the contents can be poured therefrom and such contents held so that it can be stored in a refrigerator or other place of storage andinspection can-readily be had of the contentsfor ascertaining the quantity or the'characterth'ereof. A further object of the invention is the provision of a container of this character, which is simple in its construction, thoroughly reliable and eflicient in operation, light in its structural make-up yet strong, durable and inexpensive to manufacture. With these and other objects in view, the invention consists in the features of construction, combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which discloses the preferred embodiment of the invention and pointed out in the claim hereunto appended.

The foldable ends 1 effect a plurality of plies of material at opposite ends of the container A 25 and one end of the latter is cut into to provide a pouring opening l2 for accommodating a closure cap I3 being in-struck at M for the counter-: seating of this cap within the opening l2. The cap is hingedly riveted or otherwise fastened at 80 IE to the body 5 and carries a pull tab it. On the opening 'of the cap l3 the contents of the container A can be readily poured or dispensed and on the closing of such cap l3 the opening l2 will be sealed thereby preserving the contents 35 I of such container.

What is claimed is:

A container of the character described constructed of a folded blank having one side wall providing'flaps folded one upon the other in 40 overlapped relation to each other, one of said flaps in overlapped relation being cut away for the major extent of the length thereof and providing an elongated sight opening, and a transparent panel inside with relation to. the said flaps for covering the sight opening and being sealed with the flaps which are sealed together at the overlaps thereof.
