1431815 Clamping flexible printing plates ROLAND OFFSETMASCHINENFABRIK FABER & SCHLEICHER AG 30 March 1973 [31 March 1972] 15451/73 Heading B6C Flexible printing plates 4<SP>1</SP>, 4<SP>11</SP>, 4<SP>111</SP> are clamped to a cylinder 2 by plate-locking mechanisms located in the cylinder gap 1 in such a way that a visual check is readily available whereby correct adjustment and tensioning of each plate may be seen to have taken place. The leading edge of each plate is held on a clamping bar 3<SP>1</SP>, 3<SP>11</SP> or 3<SP>111</SP> which is movable circumferentially and axially and carries angle brackets 15, 16 having machine ground faces 23 and 24, 27 and 28 respectively, which faces align with respective similarly ground faces 25, 26, 29, 30 on angle brackets 19, 20 fixed to the floor of the gap 1 when the plates are correctly mounted and tensioned.
