Duct 35 is also connected at 40 to a chamber defined by a nozzle mounting sleeve 39, whence air passes from an aperture 41 to blow fibres from the nozzle top. A blade 28a, 28b extends along and across the mouth of the nozzle, and a duct 31 is enclosed between the blade and the nozzle which supplies air to two apertures 33 and 34, defined by double walls. Inlet 32 also supplies air to nozzles 24 and (25) (Fig. 1, not shown).
