Abstract

1,104,817. Air filter. PARKS-CRAMER CO. 30 Aug., 1966 [1 Sept., 1965], No. 38632/66. Addition to 1,059,280. Heading BIT. [Also in Division F4] A filter for the intake of a blowing fan housing 325 in a travelling textile-machine cleaner (see Division F4) comprises an annular perforated screen 331 which rotates under the action of a ratchet 350 and pawl 351, the pawl being reciprocated by a motor 352. The filter is cleaned by a blowing nozzle (410, Fig. 3) connected to a duct 412 leading from the blowing housing and an opposed suction nozzle 411 connected to a duct leading to a suction housing (327, Fig. 3) associated with the cleaner. The air output from the suction housing is filtered in cylindrical chambers (400, Figs. 1 and 3) in which the air is injected tangentially.
