Abstract
1429986 Cleaning watch parts S LANZETTER 1 Aug 1974 [2 Aug 1973] 36742/73 Heading G3T [Also in Division C7] In a machine for cleaning small parts e.g. of watches and of the type having a wire mesh basket 6 mounted on the vertical spindle 7 of a motor 8 and able to be immersed sequentially in liquids in jars I by vertical and rotary movement on a mounting pillar, the basket is attached by a spring clip 15 fixed eccentrically on the spindle so that the basket moves in an eccentric path. This is stated to aid spinning off of liquid and to reduce contamination from one jar to the next. The basket has a mesh top with a rim 6a and contains an inner basket with small depressions to receive watch parts.
