Abstract
1458406 Watches ETA AG EBAUCHES FABRIK 29 Jan 1974 [22 Feb 1973] 04035/74 Heading G3T In an automatic watch winding mechanism having an oscillatory weight 2, the weight is pivotably supported by a flat member 3 which is fixed e.g. to a frame bridge and provided with a circular aperture which co-operates with a cylindrical bearing surface 5 of a boss 1 fixed to the weight 2, axially spaced surfaces on the boss and weight respectively being located one on each side of the member 3. As shown the boss has a flange 7 fixed in the hub 2a of the weight e.g. by rivetting but a fixing screw (20), Fig. 2, (not shown) may alternatively be used. The boss is a stamped member with an integral eccentric stud 8 to drive the winding train, or alternatively with a pinion toothing (18). The hub 2a may be a separate member of different material from the weight.
