1426739 Cabinets W B BAWN & CO Ltd and G I GREEN 31 July 1973 [31 July 1972] 35710/72 Heading A4B [Also in Division E2] A storage locker comprises a plurality of compartments defined by partitions 3 a first closure element 4 formed by a frame 7 hinged, as at 8, to a fixed outer frame 6, the frame 7 carrying a plurality of minor closure elements 5 for closing the individual compartments, the minor closure elements 5 being hinged, as at 9, to the frame 7 and lockable, at 13, thereto, and the frame 7 being lockable, e.g. as at 11, to the fixed outer frame 6. In another embodiment Fig. 4 (not shown) the partitions 3 are disposed vertically. The compartments may be provided in a cabinet 1 or within a wall recess fitted with the closure elements. The locking device for the first closure element 4 may comprise a vertical bar 23 disposed within a channel section upright 16 of the closure frame 7 The bar 23 is guided in slots 20, 21 in fixed plates 17, 18 and is vertically displaceable by a pivoted tongue 28 extending through a slot 27 in the bar 23. The bar 23 carries a plurality of L-shaped catches 24 which, in the lowered position of the bar 23, engage catch plates 29 secured to the fixed outer frame 6 to back the first closure element 4.
