1424583 Magnesium 2-(p-chlorophenoxy)-2- methylpropionate J URIACH & CIA SA 8 Feb 1973 [21 Feb 1972] 6289/73 Heading C2C Novel magnesium 2-(p-chlorophenoxy)-2- methylpropionate is prepared by reacting 2-(pchlorophenoxy) - 2 - methylpropionic acid with a magnesium salt in an aqueous medium. Pharmaceutical compositions having antilipaemic and especially hypocholesterolaemic activity comprise, as active ingredient, the novel salt, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
