Abstract

1424480 False twisting FRATELLI MARZOLI & C SpA 16 Oct 1973 [31 Oct 1972] 48210/73 Heading D1D Yarn is false-twisted by contact with the peripheries of successive, rotating, parallel discs which are rotated by at least one friction-drive cylinder. Yarn 2 is false-twisted by discs 30, 31, 32 rotated by cylinder 45. The discs and guiderings 39-42 are mounted on arms 22, 23, 28, 29 whose rotational and axial position on columns 16, 17 is adjustable. Each ring is mounted on a bush 36 whose rotational and axial position on a pivot 35 is adjustable. Pivot supports 34 may be adjustably positioned along the arms, and columns 16, 17 may be adjustably positioned along plate 13. The discsupporting arms are biassed by springs to urge the discs against the cylinder.
