1423680 Suction device in open end spinning machines FRIED KRUPP GmbH 21 Dec 1973 [28 Dec 1972] 59571/73 Headings DID and DIN In an open-end spinning machine a suction chamber has a portion extending into the spinning rotor 2, this portion having an annular suction slot 6 in the vicinity of the fiber collecting groove 12, fibres entering through a gap between the suction chamber and the rotor wall while air is sucked through the slot 6 and axially out of the suction chamber away from the rotor. As shown the suction chamber rotates and comprises the opening roller of the spinning machine.
