Abstract

1422917 Transporting cranes CREUSOT-LOIRE 25 March 1974 [3 May 1973] 13170/74 Heading B8B An articulated crane-carrying vehicle, shown in the transport position, comprises a main support vehicle 2 whose platform 21 supports, on a swivel ring 3, a crane structure 5 having a telescopic jib 51 in cantilever, and an auxiliary support vehicle 1, independent of the vehicle 2, linked to the jib 51 by a pair of rods 12 and supporting the crane structure 5 through two rams 13 acting as shock-absorbers. The crane structure 5 is free to move about the axis of rotation of the swivel ring 3, but is fixed vertically relative to the platform 21, during transport.
