Abstract

1421630 Bearings SVENSKA SOCKERFABRIKS AB 29 March 1973 [30 March 1972] 15248/73 Heading F2A The inner ring of a ball bearing assembly is in the form of a sleeve which projects axially outwardly of a side face 6 of the outer ring 3; a rigid washer 11 is secured to the projecting end of the inner ring, and adjoins the said side face 6; and a resilient washer 15 is located inwardly of and adjacent said rigid washer and is so dimensioned that it engages those surfaces of the rings and said rigid washer which define the inner space 13 containing the balls 14. The edge of the side face 6 may oppose a circumferential recess 16 in the rigid washer 11. A further sealing element 20 may be included. The bearing may be lubricated through passages 17, 18.
