Abstract

1,192,568. Bearings. SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN G.m.b.H. 1 Aug., 1967 [2 Aug., 1966], No 35238/67. Heading F2A. A self-aligning bearing comprises an outer ring 5, an inner ring 8, an annular member 12 having a limb 13 attached to the inner ring, and a resilient seal 10 compressed between the member 12 and a disc 9 contacting both rings. A layer 7 of low friction material is provided between the rings. Member 12 comprises a radial portion 18 connecting axial limb 13 and flange 14. Disc 9 has a bead 11 engaging an axial flange 19 and the end face of outer ring 5.
