1419521 Ceiling heating elements H KATZENBERGER 21 Nov 1972 [22 Nov 1971 6 April 1972 9 May 1972 16 June 1972] 53697/72 Heading E1W [Also in Division H5] A prefabricated reinforced concrete element 18 for use in a ceiling construction comprises a sheet like heating member 2 parallel to the lower face of the element and spaced therefrom by at least part of the thickness of the concrete of the element. The heating sheet may be fixed to the concrete by laying it onto a layer 25 of mortar and may be covered with a layer 3 of heat insulating material. The prefabricated element may be covered with reinforced concrete cast in situ to form a decking 5. The heating sheet may be apertured to facilitate bonding to the prefabricated element or to allow passage through the sheet of shear ties or reinforcement.
