1416976 Circlip WALDES KOHINOOR Inc 26 Feb 1974 [28 June 1973] 8596/74 Heading F2H A circlip for mounting on a cylindrical member to provide a shoulder for locating a machine part comprises an open-ended spring metal ring 10 having radiused prongs P 1 , P 2 , P 3 projecting inwardly from its inner edge with their tips lying on a circle C 1 concentric with the outer edge circle C 2 of the ring, the inner edge of the ring being eccentric with respect to the outer edge so as to provide a progressive decrease in ring section radial width from the mid-section of the ring to its open ends.
