The clamps may comprise individual saddle shaped plates 15, 16, 17 bridging adjacent grids and bolted either to a backing plate or to a steel framework on which the grids rest. Alternatively, two saddle shaped plates 1 may be bolted to plate 5 slidably engaged in a channel 11.
