Abstract

1,072,925. Vehicle floors. BRITISH ALUMINIUM CO. Ltd. Aug. 25, 1964 [Aug. 30, 1963], No. 43825/65. Divided out of 1,072,924. Heading B7B. A vehicle floor is formed from a metal sheet having a number of projections arranged in parallel rows upstanding from one face thereof. Each projection is of upwardly tapering substantially rectangular cross-section parallel to the general plane of the sheet and of trapezium cross-section in a plane parallel to the direction of length of the rows. The sheet is supported by depending flanges 3 on bearer members in the vehicle and a longitudinally extending flange is received in a corresponding recess 2 in adjacent sheets.
