Abstract
1408527 Locks FORENADE FABRIKSVERKEN 9 May 1973 [15 May 1972] 22090/73 Heading F3A A lock, inter alia, for holding a detonatorcarrying rotor 7 in a safe position in a missile, comprises a locking pin 1 associated with a weak spring 4, a dog-sleeve 2 and an associated strong spring 5 retaining the pin in its locking position, and an inertia mass 3 associated with a softer spring 6. Upon firing a missile fitted with the lock, the mass 3 sets back and engages a flange 2b of the dog-sleeve thereby withdrawing the sleeve and allowing the pin to set back and free the rotor.
