Abstract

Equipments for carrying purposes. - An equipment for carrying purposes, such as for carrying wounded soldiers, consists of a rigid seat 11 supported at its outer corners by curved rigid straps 17 and attached at its inner edge to a belt 12, which may be secured around the carrier's body by means of a buckle 13, and to which are secured shoulder straps 14 that cross each other and the free ends of which en. gage with buckles 16 on the front of the belt. The shoulder straps and the straps 17 are fastened together at a point 18 which, when the equipment is in use, is at the back of the neck of the wearer.
