1404731 Rollers TOYODA JIDOSHOKKI SEISAKUSHO KK 18 Dec 1973 58670/73 Heading D1D An adjustable setting roller assembly comprises a top roller bearing block with a plurality of albuttment surfaces 13 arranged at different spacings from the top roller axis. A selected one of abutments 13 on longitudinal surfaces of the bearing block engages a relatively fixed support surface 7. The abutments 13, being of different thicknesses, produce different spacings between the top and bottom rollers. The bearing. block 9 may have other than 4 sides. The abutments 13 may be recesses in housings 9. The rollers may impart crimps to a sliver passing between them and may form part of a drafting or carding machine.
