Abstract

1403592 Load handling pallets HELLBERG & OLSSON AB 20 Oct 1972 [3 Jan 1972 29 March 1972] 48522/72 Heading B8H In a one piece load handling pallet comprising a base 12 with upstanding, outwardly inclined side walls 10, the free edges of the side walls are provided with an outwardly and upwardly inclined brim 11, adjacent brims 11 being secured together. A step 14 is provided in the side walls adjacent the junction thereof with the base to facilitate separation of the pallets in a rested condition. In an alternative embodiment, Fig. 6 (not shown), an outwardly and upwardly inclined brim (17) is provided on a pair of opposed side walls (13), the other pair of opposed walls are extended to engage the ends of the brims and have a horizontal flange (18). In a modification, Fig. 9 (not shown), the flange (18) is replaced by a projecting head (19) for engagement by shrink-wrapping. The pallet may be formed of plastics, or cardboard.
