Abstract
1402552 Cathode-ray tube connector PRESSAC Ltd 17 Oct 1972 [3 Aug 1971] 36346/71 Heading H2E In a connector for a cavity cap C.R.T. anode terminal a contact 7 connected to resistors 5 engages detachably in a hole 8 in the clip 2. The resistors 5 and the end of the cable 6 fit inside a sheath 4 which in turn fits into a tubular part 3 of the PVC body. (The cable 6 and contact 7 are shown twice in Fig. 1). At the end of the sheath 4 is a cable gland (Figs. 2, 4 and 6, not shown). The contact 7 may comprise resilient arms of various shapes (Figs. 3, 5, 7 and 10, not shown) or the clip 2 may be resilient and the contact 7 rigid (Figs. 13-16, not shown). The contact 7 may have teeth (10, Fig. 3, not shown) to bite into the sheath 4, may be a snap fit (Figs. 4 and 5, Figs. 10-12 or Fig. 14, not shown) or may fit by a latching bayonet action (Figs. 7-9, not shown).
