1402425 Storage bin E RAND & SONS (ENGS) Ltd 10 Aug 1972 [20 Aug 1971] 39272/71 Heading B8S In a storage bin arrangement, adjacent bins are separated by a common dividing wall formed of a plurality of double skinned panels located one above the other by the engagement of dowels in a horizontal edge of one panel with holes in a horizontal edge of the adjacent panel, the horizontal edges being of equal width to provide an internal surface free from projections. Fig. 8, shows the construction of a nested arrangement, double skinned panels 40 engaging in slots in intermediate posts 32 and central post 50 via guide members 42 to form common dividing walls of four bins, the external walls of which are formed by panels 36 mounted by bolts to posts 34 and 32 and to vertically adjacent panels 36. All flanges are external as shown to provide ledgefree inner surfaces to the bins. A hopper may be provided below each bin, bolted to panels 36 and 40, again to provide ledge-free inner surfaces, and the skins of the bottom-most panel 40 may taper inwardly and upwardly. The hopper may have a downwardly decreasing cross-sectional area.
