Abstract

1400536 Regenerating driers for gas BRITISH TITAN Ltd 9 Aug 1973 [14 Oct 1972] 47532/72 Heading B1L A gas to be dried is fed to an absorber 3 and the product leaves the system at 10. A proportion of the dried gas not exceeding 10% by volume passes by line 22 into the heated circulating gas being used to regenerate the identical absorber 4. This dry gas is circulated with the existing gas left over from the drying phase of absorber 4 through blower 18 heater 19 pipes 20 and 21, absorber 4, pipes 11 and 12 and condenser 13. A small amount of the circulating air is vented at 16.
