Hedge-cutting appliances.-A hedge-cutting appliance comprises a fixed blade C formed at the end of a bar A attached to an arm-rest B, with which co-operates a rotary cutter F mounted on a shaft D carried in a bracket E secured to the arm A. The shaft D is driven through pinions G, H from a cranked handle I. A spring K holds the cutter F against the handle C. The operator holds the implement by a handle L secured to the bracket E, his arm lying in the rest B.
