Abstract
1399476 Electro-photographic developing apparatus CANON KK 2 June 1972 [3 June 1971] 25946/72 Heading G2H [Also in Divisions B1 and B2] In apparatus for recovering carrier/developer liquid vapour from photographic copying equipment, e.g. electro-photographic, the vapour enters at 2 and is cooled by plates 5 to form a mist, which mist is converted to liquid droplets as it passes through the electric field provided by a voltage applied to collector nets 9, e.g. 5000 volts A.C., the droplets collect on nets 9 fall to the bottom of chamber 1, liquid is discharged at 3, and air is discharged through conduit 4. In Fig.2, (not shown) the nets are interspersed between the plates of the cooling section, and in Fig.3 (not shown), a corona discharge is used e.g. at 8000 volts.
