Circular-saw machines. -A machine for sawing bones or other irregular and slippery objects comprises a circular saw a and a table d adapted to be moved to and from the saw, and provided with a number of serrated bars g adapted to support the work and prevent it from slipping, the bars being adjustable on the table and interchangeable with a table k, Fig. 7, which is provided with a serrated bar m and an adjustable spike n for supporting animals heads. Serrated stops h may be provided in conjunction with the bars g. In the machine shown in Fig. 1, the table d is provided with a manipulating-handle f, and is carried by an arm c pivoted at e, and a saw-guard r pivoted at s is connected by a link t to the arm c, so that it rises from the saw as the work-table approaches it. In the machine shown in Fig. 2, the table d is slidable along bars u, and the saw-guard is operated by a roller w on it engaging a cam v on the table.
