1398927 End support for terminal blocks CGEE ALSTHOM 4 July 1972 [5 July 1971] 31304/72 Heading H2E A stop for locating terminal blocks by being clamped to an asymmetric C-section rail 16 comprises an insulating body 10 with a screw 12 extending through a well 11 in the body and engaging in a tapped hole of a rigid box 14 which is guided between two flanges 15 dependent from the base of the body, the face of the base and the opposed face of the bar both having a S-shaped profile. The screw is tightened so that the non-aligned opposed lips of the C- section are gripped between the opposed faces of the body and bar with the flanges engaged between the ends of the limbs. The S-profiles permit the stop to be clamped in the position shown or in the position when rotated 180 degrees about a vertical axis (Fig. 2, not shown) when the angle a of inclination between the stop and the plane of the rail is reduced to, for example, 35 degrees.
