1462959 Clips SIEMENS AG 13 May 1974 [14 May 1973] 21146/74 Heading E2B A clip suitable for mechanically securing an elongate member, e.g. a cable, to a support comprises two portions 1, 2 at right angles to each other, one 1 of the portions being provided with or forming a recess 3 through which, in use, the member projects and having a projection 5 extending in the direction of and spaced from the other portion 2, the arrangement being such that with the other portion 2, which comprises two spaced limbs, engaging a surface of the support, the projection 5 urges the elongate member, in use, against an opposite face of the support (Fig. 3, not shown). As shown the projection 5 is formed by stamping out a portion of a sheet of plastics material or metal, the projection being curved. The clip may be formed from wire.
