Abstract

1398458 Two-part couplings DORNIER SYSTEM GmbH 8 Nov 1973 [23 Dec 1972] 51909/73 Heading H2E Mating plug and socket parts 1, 2 are mounted on plates 3, 4 with guide members 9 on one plate and co-operating guide members 10 on the other plate, each guide member being provided with a threaded fixing shank 5, 5<SP>1</SP>, 5<SP>11</SP>, 5<SP>111</SP>. Plate 3 floats on guides 5, 51 by springs 7, 71. The shanks are fixed to the walls 6, 6<SP>1</SP> of a piece of equipment by self-locking nuts 11, 11<SP>1</SP>, 11<SP>11</SP>, 11<SP>111</SP>. In an alternative embodiment the positions of the plates and coil springs are reversed thereby enabling a plug part to be mounted inside the wall of the equipment.
