Abstract

1397278 Driers HAZEMAG HARTZERKLEINERUNGS - UND ZEMENT - MASCHINENBAU GmbH 31 July 1972 [14 Sept 1971] 35657/72 Heading F4G [Also in Division B2] A mill rotor comprises end plates 2 bolted to flanges 4 mounted on a rotor shaft 56 and fastened to one another by a drum shell 1, 1a surrounding the shaft. The shaft is divided inside the rotor into two parts 5, 6. These project into the interior of the drum shell and are held in alignment with one another whilst remaining axially movable by means of a sleeve 9. The sleeve has four webs 10 on its outer surface which bear against the inside of the shell 1 and hold the shaft ends central relative to the drum. Beator bars are arranged in radial slots 11 in the end plates 2 and in discs 12 provided between the end plates. The end of the shaft 6 may itself be hollow and thus form a sleeve 9; the beator bars may be inserted into slots in the drum shell which may be the drum of a drum drier.
