Abstract

1397106 Vehicles with removable bodies BRAIMA SrL 9 May 1972 [4 June 1971 31 Aug 1971] 21503/72 Heading B7B [Also in Division B1] A concrete mixer 23 comprises a semicylindrical container 25 detachably secured to a truck chassis 21 by locking means 22, 24; the heads of the locking members 22 are wedgeshaped and co-operate with guiding surfaces in the members 24. The agitator shaft 26 carries resilient arms 27 having shoes 28 which agitate the material and urge it in the direction of the discharge door 47. Telescopic legs 35, 36 can be pivoted, Fig. 3, or slid, (Fig. 7, not shown) outwards to clear the truck chassis, and the mixer can then be lowered on to gound wheels 40, 41. The container is supported on hollow rings 29, 30, 31, hydraulic fluid and water respectively being stored in rings 29, 30. An internal combustion engine and hydraulic pumps (32, 33 Fig. 8, not shown) supply pressure fluid for the agitator motor 34, legs 36 and discharge door 47. There is a water pump and flowmeter, charging apertures 44, 45 with sliding closure 46, discharge shoot 49 and control panel 42 which is vertically adjustable (Figs. 5 and 6, not shown).
