Abstract

1339365 Mixing apparatus DR HERFIELD KG 3 March 1972 [3 March 1971] 10057/72 Heading B1C A mixing apparatus comprises a motor 7 driving a shaft 6 and stirrers 8, 9 shrouded by a dished member 5, all pivotable about the horizontal axis of the shaft 2. A detachable open mixing vessel 13 may be brought into position under the stirrers by means of a wheeled trolley 11 and after attachment of the member 5 to the vessel to form the cover thereof, the vessel, cover and stirrers may be inverted into the operative position shown. The vessel may have a discharge outlet 14. It is supported when on the trolley by trunnions 18 and support surfaces 17 the centre of curvature of which lies on the axis of the shaft 2.
