Abstract

1476811 Charging liquid containing closed circuits SIHI GmbH 3 Jan 1975 [10 Jan 1974] 257/75 Headings F4U and F4H In apparatus for charging closed circuits with liquid, e.g. automobile engine cooling circuits or refrigerator circuits, the circuit is initially evacuated by a procedure which is controlled pressure-dependently in a first stage and timedependently in a second stage and thereafter charged with the liquid under pressure-dependent control. The apparatus comprises a liquid reservoir 1, a filling pump 2 and evacuating pump 3 both driven by a motor 4 under the control of an electric control system 5 is a portable unit, and control valves in an independentlyportable box 7 connected to the system 5 by hoses and control leads 6. The box 7 houses a time- and pressure-dependent valve and a pressure-dependent valve in the lines between a charging head 8 and the pump 3 and pump 2 respectively.
