1395858 Coupling bicycles side-by-side J SINGLETON 23 Oct 1973 49270/73 Heading B7E Two bicycles are coupled side-by-side by a frame 10 comprising a vertical member 20 having struts 20a-20g supporting seat 36 handlebars 28 and footrest 20h, and four cylindrical cross-members 40b-40f supporting at each end a telescopic bar 42b-42f, the bars being retained in a set portion with respect to the members 40 by nuts and bolts passing through aligned apertures and connected to the bicycle frames by U-bolts 46. The front wheels of the bicycles are connected by a rod 68 articulated by toggle mechanisms 12 to U-shaped members 64 clamped to front forks 80.
