Abstract

1392855 Beat-up motions ROSENFORS BRUK AB 12 April 1972 [14 Apr 1971] 16801/72 Heading DIE A sley is operated by three pneumatic cylinders, one to apply an initial force to the sley to balance it and relieve its dead weight, one to apply an initial "kick" to start the sley moving and one to perform beat-up. In Fig 1 the weight of the sley 2 is balanced by a cylinder 6. In Fig 6 the beat-up is performed by a cylinder 24 and a toggle mechanism 19, 20 that is broken over centre alternate ways for alternate beat-ups and the initial kicks for commencing beat-up is given by another cylinder (Fig 7 not shown).
