Abstract

1392267 Pipe pile RAYMOND INTERNATIONAL INC 26 Sept 1973 [12 July 1973] 45027/73 Heading E1H A pipe pile 11 has an annularly shaped band 18 mounted towards or adjacent the end of the pile that enters the earth and annular grout manifold 16 is mounted on the upper surface of the band. The manifold has a number of spaced upwardly directed nozzle openings 20 and one grout tube 22 or more extending from the top of the pile to the manifold. In the embodiment shown the band 18 has a sharp cutting edge and there are grout manifolds internally and externally of the pipe pile.
